Our key rail client urgently require a Risk Analyst to join their team on a contract basis to provide guidance relating to risk and value management at all stages of the project life cycle.

Scope of Role

Using your expertise as a Risk and Value Analyst you will monitor projects so that they comply with the risk and value management procedures and provide advice to project manager and sponsors by carrying out business risk assessments.

Part of your role will also involve updating the risk register to make sure the risks are up to date and that appropriate risk treatment is in place and is acted upon. Providing regular reports to project and risk and value managers will also ensure that the risk statuses of the projects are monitored efficiently.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Expertise in all aspects of project and business risk management facilitation
  • Ability to build complicated cost, schedule and business risk models in a number of applications
  • Knowledge of project management and project control processes
  • Knowledge of risk management techniques
  • Ideally the candidate will be a Member of the Institute of Risk Management or Association for Project Management Risk Practitioner
  • Membership of the Institute of Value Management
