Job Description:
My client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join their team in Dublin as a Web Developer as soon as possible.
Requirements:
IT Knowledge:
-
Proficient in techniques used to build complex websites, mid-range and Back End solutions
-
Proficient in web development techniques
-
Proficient in database development and maximising performance
-
Knowledge of securities for external facing web applications, including LDAP, encryption and PKI
-
To explain technical concepts in non-technical language
-
Development experience of 5+ years with the appropriate technologies
Skills:
Significant experience and competency in using:

.NET Frameworks,
-
ASP .NET Forms development (VB.NET/C# ), IIS 6 & 7

JQUERY/Javascript
-
AJAX (.net toolkit)
-
WCF Web Service development and configuration
-
3rd Party controls (Dev Express)
-
Team Foundation Server (Source Control)
-
SQL (data design, stored procedure development, TSQL, SSIS)

Knowledge of HTML 4.01, XHTML 1.0, WCAG accessibility standards

Good knowledge of XML, XSLT, XSD, distributed systems development
Qualifications:
IT/Computer Science/Business degree
