Description
I am looking for a network engineer who has knowledge of Prepay Systems (Intelligent Networks,IN), preferably ALU (Surepay) although this is not essential.
Additional skills in:
Circuit and Packet Switching, Subscriber Authentication/Accounting and understanding of the core Network nodes and their functions
Knowledge of Test tools eg MGTS, RTE and SeaGull
E2E knowledge of the Home Subscriber Server (HSS), Prepay and IN systems
Good Testing Knowledge on Provisioning solutions and Knowledge of subscriber provisioning flows
Experience in HP Quality Centre tool for managing defects and Test scripts.
Good Protocol knowledge eg CAMEL, INAP, MAP, Diameter, MIP, LDAP, SNMP
Duties
Reproduce and evaluate bugs/issues on IN platforms (ALU Surepay, Provisioning platforms and IN Subscription).
Install software releases on test platforms using vendor MoPs
Prepare test specifications around the software package and perform acceptance tests on the release
Troubleshoot the environment and take logs/traces for further analysis
Raise issues/alerts to project lead and always maintain platform on properly working condition for projects work.
