Description
My client an national environmental agency is in URGENT NEED of Financial System Change Consultant. My client requires support for its change management programme in relation to its financial management and reporting processes and systems. The Contractor will be required 1) to support the client in identifying its system requirements in advance of the implementation of a new FMS and 2) supporting the client in changing/adapting its process and procedures to take best advantage of the new FMS post implementation.
It is envisaged that there is likely to be a time lapse of the order of 6 months + between the two phases. This is a daily rate contract and is negotiable.
Job Duties:
The aim of this programme is to produce improved:
- Automation and efficiencies;
- Delivery of financial information to decision makers across the Agency;
- Automation of cross function financial processes;
- Sharing of financial information between systems.
Job requirements:
- Excellent team player with an ability to communicate effectively
- Experience of identifying and assessing users requirements in advance of implementing financial management systems.
- Experience of change management, training and stakeholder relationship management in a financial support services environment.
Competency in:
- accountancy/financial management & reporting,
- financial systems and processes
- change management
- Stakeholder facilitation.
