Description
For our international organisation client in The Hague, we are looking for several Service Validation/Test Management consultants. Service Validation and Testing requires active involvement in projects, in particular in the Initiation phase, and also in Application and Release Management.
Tasks will include
- intake: review the product descriptions and advise on acceptance methods
- assist project manager to identify product stakeholders and high-level acceptance criteria (in the form of which type of tests and reviews must be performed)
- liaise with the business and the technical project managers and key product stakeholders
- participate in project meetings to report on the test and acceptance process
- estimate .testing effort for dedicated testing services
- specify the project test strategy including Test Cluster Matrix
- specify project test plans for functional and non-functional testing, specifically for end-to-end integration test and functional and non-functional acceptance testing
- specify and request dedicated testing services (functional, non-functional and test automation) from other service providers
- provide continuous knowledge transfer for other testers as required, or other service providers executing testing activities
- Monitor the progress of test creation and execution
- organise and conduct the defect management, as required
- seek for sign-off of test results from the predefined product stakeholders
- create test reports for management
- liaise with Application Managers regarding testing and acceptance matters
- maintain the application test knowledge base
- create the test guides
- Align test planning with the application release planning
- create test plan for adaptive maintenance and regression testing
- specify and request dedicated testing services from other service providers
- give training sessions for other testers as required, or other service providers executing testing activities
- monitor and report the progress of test creation and execution
- organise and conduct the defect management as required
- seek for approvals (or non-approval) from the predefined application managers or product stakeholders
- create release test plans
- manage release test plan execution
- defect management
- request, monitor and accept managed service requests for dedicated testing services
- transfer application specific testing knowledge as required to dedicated testing services
Skills required
- Testing-related certification (ISTQB or similar)
- ITIL v3 Foundation
- ISO/IEC 9126 and IEEE 829
- use of Test Cluster Matrix and Test Cluster Cards
- the use of HP Quality Center as test management tool
- English working language
- Experience of working in a managed services environment
