Compliance Manager (CF10) - Trading FirmA dynamic and forward thinking International Trading Firm is seeking a Compliance Manager within the London office to monitor and advise the business on regulatory changes and developments including EMIR, MAR/MAD and MiFID as the firm grows its operations across Europe. Reporting to the Global Head of Compliance and COO, this entrepreneurial firm are offering the chance for you to become CF10 for the London office, with oversight and management of a European Compliance Program for multiple trading strategies across multiple asset classes.
Daily responsibilities will include implementing and monitoring trading related compliance policies, procedures and internal controls whilst supporting the global head of Compliance and businesses through advice and interpretations regarding existing and new business initiatives. You will be an integral point of contact for daily compliance questions regarding trades and trading strategies, conducting surveillance, reporting on findings and providing training where necessary. In addition, you will be responsible for interacting with regulators on a regular basis and conducting compliance reviews and risk assessments of business activities, practices and controls to mitigate potential areas of risk.
The firm is seeking an ambitious compliance professional with between 2 and 7 years experience at either the regulator or in industry with a strong working knowledge of European market structure, compliance regulations and securities laws.
Salary - £60,000 to £90,000 (with high bonus potential)
