Looking for an experienced CA Gen Developer to work in a small team on a Government client site.

The successful candidate must be able to:

  • Investigate technical issues which may arise as system Issues or Problems.
  • Code changes to Cuba using CA-Gen technology to fix system issues or for mandated enhancements.
  • Produce accurate and comprehensive technical documentation and design documentation.
  • Work in a small team on a Government client site
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding system performance and issues.
  • Be accountable for specific data analysis and action requests for stakeholders as required, including providing specialised advice and recommendations as it relates to large corporate system redevelopment projects
  • Development and implementation of solutions to support business outcomes, and accountability while participating in a wide range of analysis, planning and development activities.
  • Identify and resolve complex problems using specialist knowledge and experience, identification and development of ideas, analysis of alternative courses of action; application of legislation.

Essential skills include:

  • Ability to produce accurate and comprehensive technical documentation and design documentation.
  • Extensive design and development experience in large scale programming environments using CA Gen technology
  • High Level knowledge of the systems development life cycle and recognised systems development methodologies
  • High-level knowledge of change, configuration and deployment management practices
  • Demonstrated skills and history as a Developer working on large corporate systems
  • Demonstrated analysis and development skills, and expertise in the use of CA Gen and Mainframe applications technologies.
