Our client is growing their design team and is looking for a MMIC Design Engineer to be based in Avon/Wiltshire, for a rolling 1 month Contract.

Role:

Using active and passive design modes to design an antenna.

Working on both RF and IC design.

Work involves project management as well as hands' on designing. You'll be leading a team as well as designing.

Full development life cycle.

Essential Requirements:

Have to have designed MMIC's such as GaAs, Si, SiGe - up to 6GHz previously.

Experience of designing RF/microwave circuits such as LNA's,PA's, low noise VCO's, PLL's, synthesisers, transceivers at the hybrid level, MCM and/or MMIC is highly desirable.

Must be proficient with RF layout modelling and simulation (both 2D and 3D) ideally in AWR/ADS

Advantageous:

Previous experience with electromagnetic simulator DSPs

Experience with Cadence.

Experience with programming in C/Matlab.

The rate is between £45-55 per hour. They can also remain flexible for an exceptional individual.
