SQL DBA/Database Administrator/SQL DeveloperA client, based just outside of Leeds is looking for a SQL DBA to start ASAP for 3-6 months, paying between £ per day.
They are looking for someone to work alongside the developers to look at bottlenecks in the cubes in the datawarehouse and increase performance of certain queries. You will also be helping with SQL performance issues on another system, looking at issues with the SQL been written as there are issues getting data into an MVC application and you will also be looking at report engine optimisation.
Key skills:
- Performance tuning/optimisation
- SQL development
- Understanding of datawarehousing
Desirable skills:
- Experience working within an Agile environment
