Description
Our large direct client needs an experienced Configuration Manager for their location near Rutherford, NJ.Responsibilities include:
- Providing source code versioning tool administration and end user support.
- Providing workspace baselines/merges (branches/views) which enable application teams to work and support various releases, projects and bug fixes.
- Creating and maintaining application build scripts.
- Creating and maintaining application package scripts.
- Deployment Management:
- Creating and maintaining deployment scripts.
- Deploying software packages and environment specific configuration to various Servers.
- Providing application deployment to non-prod and prod environments.
- Executing application deployment roll back when required.
Required:
- 4+ years experience with the following:
- IBM base Clearcase multisite (interop) administration.
- Experience in GIT a plus.
- Ant Scripting and UNIX Shell Scripting
- Windows Scripting and MSI packaging
- Intermediate/medium python programming experience
Environments:
- Familiar with Windows, Linux and Solaris system commands + services.
- Familiar with web, server/client interaction.
Plusses:
- Experience in GIT
- Experience in fabric and fexpect
- Experience in JavaScript
