Web UI Designer/Developer - Leading multi-national insurance provider, Singapore
My client requires an experienced Web User Interface Developer to work closely with an interactive team to deliver high quality web applications for a range of insurance products.
Responsibilities- Design software applications using HTML, Javascript and CSS
- Design and implement Front End business applications while working closely with developers to help generate requirements for ASP.NET based portal.
- Develop Prototypes/wireframes using Fireworks and prototyping using HTML scaffolding frameworks like "Twitter Bootstrap"
- Acquire basic knowledge on web hosting, web deployment and functioning of IIS Servers
- Remain in-touch with new technologies as they relate to web-based application development.
- Knowledge on UI/UX Patterns and User experience centered designing is preferred
Requirements
- Intermediate to expert level knowledge in Client-side frameworks like JQuery, AngularJS, UnderscoreJS and HTML Styling frameworks (ie Bootstrap) is essential.
- Must have Intermediate to expert level knowledge on AJAX and RESTful API's; JSON
- Knowledge on creating Angular JS directives, JQuery Widgets, SASS is preferred
- Team Foundation Services Knowledge
- Capable of working Individually under little or no guidance and within a team
- Fundamental knowledge of Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment
- To be successful in this role an individual with good aesthetic sense in creating Web sites is required.
