Senior Solutions Architect - Digital/Medial
A new opportunity has arisen for an experience Senior Technical Architect who has a strong background with Opensource (Java) technologies. The role is initial 3 month contract with the view to extend.
The primary purpose of the Senior Media Solution Architect is to deliver the overall vision and end-to-end solution design for media products and services in the Retail and Enterprise domains. Due to the high work load a contractor is needed to assist the current team in leading the delivery of Integrating Architectural Solutions.
This role will see the suitable candidate working very closely with a number of stakeholders. Primarily Engineers, Testers, Developers & Business Analyst & Product Owners.
To be successful in this role you must have the following experience;
- Demonstrates deep technical knowledge of Open Source (Java, Web Servers) technologies and processes
- Strong background in Back End Development & Application Servers
- Proven experience in Front End Mobile Devices
- Demonstrates an understanding of delivering high performance Media/Digital solutions at scale.
- Able to articulate the benefits, opportunities or threats arising from new technology
- Strong communication and influencing skills
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience with Video (IPTV) Technologies is preferred
- Previous experience with Ecommerce systems
