We are looking for Software Developer - Embedded in IL
Location: Peoria, IL
Duration: 3 months
Start: 2-3 weeks
Role Responsibilities
- Real Time Embedded software architecture, design and development
- Software debugging and issue resolution
- Software quality processes and documentation
- Software FMEA, design and code reviews and defect prevention activities
- Code integration, configuration management and release processes
- Conduct or participate in the research, prototyping, design and development of solutions
- Conduct or Participate in specifications and design reviews and other defect prevention activities
- Assists the business development, sales and delivery organizations as technical/industry subject matter expert
- Perform program management activities to lead multiple project teams
Requirements
- BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering and at least 10 years relevant experience or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering and at least 8 year relevant experience
- Strong expertise in Embedded systems solutions involving hardware and software
- Strong programming expertise in C, C++
- Expertise in Real Time Operating Systems - OSE, Win CE, Linux, VxWorks, OSEK, Green Hills Integrity etc.
- Knowledge on Microcontroller architecture and cross development tools
- Knowledge on communication protocols such as CAN,ISOBUS, SAE J1939 and network Programming (TCP, UDP, Domain Sockets, multicast)
- Experience in Linux Kernel, UNIX/Linux System, Embedded systems (RTOS, file systems, device drivers)
- Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
