Description
*Perform Design Effectiveness Assessment (DEA) for in scope processes and identify areas for improvement.
*Perform Operating Effectiveness testing of SOX controls; review and challenge current control environment and ensure best practice is maintained.
*Establish and maintain strong partnership with business areas.
*Work on special projects requiring attention for improving control environment.
*Monitor progress of remediation plans for SOX related issues
*Assess new products or business changes projects for SOX impact and direct project teams on implementation of SOX controls as necessary
*Assessment of the change projects for impact on Financial reporting
Essential
*Professional accountancy qualification - ACCA/ACA, CIMA
*Ability to understand, implement and drive improvements to a risk & control framework
*Overall understanding of 'minimum standards' for SOX and control issues reporting
*Strong Microsoft Excel skills
