*Merchandising and Content Coordinator.*
A leading broadcasting and media organisation seeks an experienced Merchandising and Content Coordinator.
As Merchandising and Content coordinator, you will be contribute to increasing both revenue and profit derived from an E-commerce website and its store front extensions both internally and on the marketplaces, by creating a compelling shopping environment that supports the UK eCommerce growth expectations.
You will be responsible for:
- The creation and on-going maintenance of the Shop product catalogue in order to establish the platform as the definitive product authority.
- Create and maintain product copy, images & video content that deliver effective SEO.
- Liaising with external suppliers and Operations Executive to ensure new products are created in a timely manner and deleted products removed.
- Produce weekly updates for the eCommerce & Customer Service teams on all new and deleted titles.
- Implement all price updates
Site Merchandising
* Responsible for the implementation and day-to-day operation of the Shop merchandising plan
* Analysing and responding to all merchandising reports from the Shop search & recommendations tool Attraqt as well as Google Analytics.
* Maintaining landing and category pages to improve visibility of products, SEO and drive sales.
* Maintain ongoing competitive price review of top 25 best sellers
* Produce weekly merchandise insight reports for the team.
Knowledge & Skills:
* Good understanding and working knowledge of Content Management Systems
* Good understanding of SEO and its use in E-commerce
* Previous experience of Google Analytics
* Knowledge of customer journey through a transactional website
* Strong communication skills and experience of writing copy
* Previous experience of HTML & Photoshop
