One of my key clients is currently recruiting for a Civil Engineer and a Senior Sub Agent on a contract basis with a view to an immediate start for the right candidates.The client are the Civils contractor on a new build Waste to Energy project based in the West Midlands and have a number of other active sites across the UK so this would be an excellent opportunity to get a foot in the door with a big company.
Competitive daily/hourly rates of pay are on offer with an initial duration of 6 months work on the table.
What I am looking for is as follows-
CIVIL ENGINEER
- Formal Civil Engineering Qualification
- CSCS/ SMSTS/ SSSTS qualficiations desirable
- Ability to set-out site and knowledge of surveying
- Strong technical understanding (Reinforced concrete/ heavy civils/steel structures ideal)
- Knowledge of procurement and materials
- Exp on major Civil projects ideally (but not essental) within the Power Generation industry
SENIOR SUB AGENT
- Formal Civil Engineering Qualification
- CSCS/ SMSTS/ SSSTS qualficiations desirable
- Technical knowledge of Reinforced Concrete/ Steel Structures/ Steel & Cladding
- Be able to liaise with M & E team ensuring designs implemented correctly
- Building Service background beneficial
- Ability to oversee sub-contractors and ensure site progress
