Senior Software DeveloperA thriving organisation that places software development at its heart is looking for a developer to join them on a contract basis to help architecture and improve their click tracking system. These data events are fed through a real time, stream processing framework where they are aggregated, analysed and then stored into a distributed database based on Hadoop stack technologies.

Essential Skills:
* Strong SQL Skills
* Advance knowledge of Hadoop/Hive big data
* Exposure to data warehousing and star schema design
* ETL experience
* Good familiarity with Linux systems, databases, hive and SQL Query writing.
* HDFS
* Python / perl scripting
This involves retrieving data from legacy and operational databases, cleaning the data and applying business logic and loading into presentation star schema.
