Information Analyst - LiverpoolInformation Analyst is required for 3 Months in Liverpool. This is a unique opportunity to develop your analyst skills within the IT team for a huge NHS trusts pharmacy department. You will be working on a unique piece of software upgrade for the electronic prescribing system (EPS)
The scope of work
This role would suit a junior analyst looking to progress into a long term position. The role will help in the overall deployment and development of the organisations new electronic Prescribing solution (JAC). If successful you will be responsible for analysing complex pharmacy data and checking data quality and validity of the EPS
You will :
- Be Utilising Crystal Reports and SQL for data extraction and analysis on the electronic prescribing system
- Be an advanced user of MS Excel and the office suite.
- Deliver systems support for the JAC electronic prescribing system
- Provide maintenance of data quality within JAC system
Support the system and deliver other ad hoc IT duties within the pharmacy team
- Work independently to provide analytical support for overall department and provide reports to deadlines provided by deputy director of pharmacy

Length: 3 month contract (initial - view to extend to 12)
Rate: £160+ (DOE)
Location: Liverpool

This role would suit an analyst starting out in their career within the NHS or someone who is seeking to get more NHS experience in a large Acute Trust. We have interview slots booked for Monday 24th November, with a view to start immediately.
