5+ Year's experience in Symantec NetBackup, EMC Data Domain, EMC Avamar
Certifications Symantec NetBackup, ITIL V3 (Preferred)
Primary Skills Symantec NetBackup, EMC Data Domain, EMC Avamar, Automated Tape Libraries
Secondary Skills Other Backup products, BCP, DR
Required Skills:
Symantec NetBackup, EMC Data Domain, EMC Avamar
Hands-on experience on Install, Configuration, Administration & Maintenance of
NetBackup ver 7.x, 7.5 (Preferred), Data Domain, Avamar
Good experience on Backup Server & Client upgrades and Firmware upgrades, Migrations
Good experience on Automated Tape Libraries, VTL, EDL, Encryption
Good experience on Backups on multi OS platforms - Unix, Linux, Windows, VMWare, Database Backups - SQL/Oracle, RMAN
Good experience on De-duplication using Data Domain and Avamar
Good experience on Automated Tape Libraries
Good knowledge and understanding of other backup products
Basic knowledge and understanding of SAN (Brocade/Cisco), Zoning
Basic knowledge and understanding of Networking - LAN, WAN, VLAN, Routing, Firewalls
