Senior Java Developer, Contract
Our Dublin City Centre based client currently have an excellent Contract opportunity for a Senior Java Developer
With our client you would work with the entire stack, from the Web Server to the Database and everything in between.
Ideally you have 6 years+ Full time development experience and the following:
- Degree in Computer Science (or similar)
- Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Programming
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Excellent verbal communication in English
- Deep understanding of web technologies
Would be great if you are:
- Familiar with a Scripting language such as Ruby or Python
- Comfortable with Linux
- Experienced optimizing or administering any DB platform (ideally PostgreSQL)
- Experienced with Spring MVC & Spring JMS, multiple application architectures and GIT
- Knowledgeable of continuous integration and the tools used to implement this, such as Jenkins or Bamboo
- Experienced with JBoss, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ
Given the tight internal business deadline on this project, and the timescales involved in processing work card/permit applications, regrettably we will not be offering work permit sponsorship for this role.
