Description
For a twelve month project at our industrial engineering and manufacturing client site in Winterthur we are looking for aSiemens NX Specialist (2454)
Your responsibilities include:
- Development of 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings
- Finalization of concept for creation and maintenance (revision) of standard pump parts. This includes parameter steering, CAD-structure and information flow control
- Creation of test parts, assemblies and drawings
- Documentation (Work instructions, User manual etc.) of the created files
- Training and coaching of staff if required on related topics of their work (knowledge share and transfer)
- Setting up standards and automation:
> Study and review of NX parts and drawings
> Discussion of alternative/better design standard with the design team
> Implementation on existing data
> Development of CAD-standards for future usage
> Creation of various proposals of automation scripts for all standards and standard process defined
> Study of existing application for one type of pump and proposal for improvements
- 2D Migration from Medusa to NX:
> Conversion of Medusa drawings into DXF format
> Conversion of Medusa DXF into NX 2D drawing
> Automation
