Are you a Quality Engineer Looking for a new contract within the Nuclear Sector?My client is a leading engineering company based on Sellafield and is looking for a talented Quality Engineer to join them for a minimum of a 12 month contract.
The role:
Day to day support of the management of the engineering team, coordinating design and specification for procurement of all equipment in connection with specific projects.
* The creation and regular review of engineering work breakdown structure, execution plan and program including engineering team deliverables, cost allowances and resource profile.
* Management of engineering schedule, resources and associated budget
* Establish clear communication lines within the project team to ensure that they are fully informed in all aspects of the project
* Responsibility for outsourced design or supplies and management of subcontractors
* Liaison and co-ordination with project staff / production management both on a regular basis including through participation in design review meetings
* Negotiation and agreement of work scope change and support production of contract deviations and clarifications
* Co-ordination of the release of technical documentation to and from the project team, providing prompt resolution of any identified issues, to ensure timely and effective delivery of project
* Help develop the technical risk assessment document ensuring identification of probability of occurrence and agreed mitigation measures.
