Our financial services client is looking for a Risk & Control Manager who will be responsible for identifying, assessing, managing and monitoring the risks faced by Operations and Technology.

Essential skills and experience:

*An extensive understanding of risks and controls within the Technology environment.
*Extensive Communication skills: Ability to assess, quantify and effectively communicate risks. The ability to negotiate through challenging situations and manage conflict.
*A Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
*Good Presentation and Training skills
*A comprehensive background in Risk Identification: Identification and remediation of security controls in the technology environment
*Robust and experienced Risk Assessment and Analytical skills
*Experience of the management and delivery of technology change projects.
*Prior experience of relationship building/maintenance across Technology Management and teams.
*Innovation and creative thinking: the ability to think of solutions that help stakeholders to use the process easily and without duplication.

Experience Preferred
*IT process improvement
*Exposure to service risk management
*IT Change Management experience beneficial.
*Customisation and implementation of risk management tools.

This is a 6 months contract initially paying £396pd.
