My Financial services client is looking to hire an IT Risk & Control Manager on a contract basis to both own and lead all compliance, risk, audit and standards for IT, working across the IT organisation to ensure that risks and identified and controls are in place. This is an important role to the business and will allow the successful individual to establish and document their own controls for managing risk and compliance across the IT function, looking at projects, operations, suppliers and resources.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of IT risk management or IT audit in either a complex end user of consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of internal control standards and best practice in a large IT function.
  • Knowledge of audit processes in a large IT department.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, coupled with the ability to operate internationally.
  • Experience of using different risk management methodologies.
  • Project management experience.
