CONTRACT ROLE BACK ON: Web Cloud Systems Administrator - 2 Months - Immediate Start - EC1Our client is currently seeking a contractor to come on board with immediate effect for a contract term lasting around 2 months and are based in the City of London.
They are looking for a candidate who has a WEB HOSTING background specifically within a cloud environment to work alongside the Infrastructure Architect.
Key skills include:
* Microsoft/Windows Server
* SQL
* IIS
* VMware
Desirables include:
* Basic Cisco Networking skills
* Small web environment
* Security
* Some DBA skills
Daily duties for this project will include (but not limited to)
* Admin
* Systems Admin
* Rollout new builds & Testing
The project they are doing is as seen below:
-To work with the Infrastructure Architect to build a secure web hosting platform on Windows 2012 which is PCI complaint
-Build new Microsoft IIS 8 web servers to spec
-Harden web servers to spec
-Add web servers to the farm
-Configure DFS for doc stores, log files and configs
-Configure F5 load balancer to spec
-Administer the environment
-Configure web application pools
-Administer SQL server
-All of the above in a VMware environment
-Documenting as project progresses
-PCI compliance
