Description
Experienced Contract Mechanical Design Engineer sought by an Subsea Oil and Gas manufacturing firm. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design process of Subsea equipment.The role:
- Conceptual and detailed design
- Prototyping and testing
- Procedures and documentation
The company:
- Part of a world renound Oil and Gas services company
- Designers of state of the art Subsea equipment
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant degree or HND with relevant experience
- Good 3D modelling and CAD skills
- Ideally a knowledge of Oil and Gas/subsea industry and applications
- Basic project management skills
- Eligibility to work in the EU
The package:
- 12 months contract
- 45 hours a week
- rate of £35 per hour upwards
