This is an exciting time to join a growing innovative electronics and software company. Spirent Communications is a truly global company, with offices around the world. We are looking for a Marketing analyst to join our growing team in Devon. Spirent is the global leader in GPS/GNSS testing and has been for a quarter of a century. We deliver navigation and positioning test equipment and services to major manufacturers, integrators, test facilities, governmental agencies and space agencies worldwide.

This role will support a key business initiative that is focused on lead generation & nurturing and SEO/SEM activities.The role will directly support the "Front End" that has been established to drive success of the key initiative.The position will have an opportunity to work with digital media, cloud-based Marcom systems and will include: Data analysis, digital marketing communication, lead scoring and nurturing, project co-ordination and reporting, project administrative support function.

Job responsibilities

1. Assist in the management of lead nurturing, advertising, paid search, SEO efforts including content and keyword analysis, link building, etc.
2. Customer account and new business/trend analysis
3. Analyse marketing metrics to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing levers and outcomes, turning complex data into practical and actionable marketing insights
4. Develop tagging strategies for measuring attribution and capturing campaign performance across: social, mobile, digital and offline channels
5. Collect and analyse data on prospect demographics, preferences, needs and habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand
6. Identify and monitor competitors and research market conditions or changes that may affect sales
7. Develop weekly, monthly and ad hoc KPI measurement reports, models, scorecards and dashboards for senior management
8. Recommend efficiencies and opportunities for marketing to improve processes and performance#

Requirements

Education:
(Minimum) A-level qualifications in technical and numerate subjects (eg. Maths, stats, science)
(Desired) Degree in marketing, communication, business or related discipline

Experience:
(Minimum) 1-2 years
(Desired) 2-5 years of industry experience.

Knowledge:
Strong analytical skills.
Statistical analysis and significance awareness.
Good SEO experience.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics.

Skills:
Technically savvy on IT/comms systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Relational database awareness.
Reporting tool awareness (eg. Cognos)

Abilities:
Self motivated with ability to work without close supervision.
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
Experience of project management.
Enjoys collecting data and conducting market research.
