Role: Service Manager - Band 7Location: London
Rate: £325 - £350
Length: 3-6months
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a large NHS trust who are looking for an interim Service manager for a period of potentially 6 months.
The Service Manager will operationally manage a team of 20 within the London Trust in Surgery/Urology. They will be required to manage the overall site and service while having 3 members of staff reporting into them directly.
The candidate must have experience in the NHS and experience as a service manager. The candidate will need a background in 18week pathways and budget management of around 6million.
They may be required to manage recruitment along with appraisal and development of current staff. The candidate may be required to implement new policies put in place by senior members of the Trust along with liaising and negotiating with medical and non-medical staff internally.
It is desirable that the successful candidate has a background of Surgery and Urology along with experience in 'cOS' (clinical operating system)
