My client is a thriving, fast growing technology company based in London. They are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to cover a maternity leave contract.

As Marketing Manager, you will head up the Marketing department and will oversee a small team on a daily basis making regular decisions on both budget and strategy in a fast paced environment.

This head of Marketing role will be busy and varied and your main responsibilities will include:-

- Managing the marketing budget

- Implementing the marketing plan including the digital marketing strategy and activities across social media, e- marketing and events in both the UK and International markets

- Planning and organizing the company's presence at key industry trade shows and other events

- Working closely with the design team to provide necessary collateral for other teams

- Supporting the company's ambitious lead generation objective through a combination of various campaigns (e-marketing, events, digital)

- Engaging with current clients and documenting positive feedback received about the company product

- Managing existing agency relationships with external agencies, eg PR and telemarketing

- Improving company brand awareness amongst schools globally and also prospective employers

- Measure campaign effectiveness and ROI as well as ongoing management of various analytical tools such as Google Analytics

The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years experience of working in a similar marketing role and will currently be working as a Marketing Manager or Head of Marketing. Experience of managing a website, SEO and PPC campaigns, implementing social media strategies, creating and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns and working with PR agencies and journalists are essential.

The Marketing Manager must be technology focused and having a passion for education would be a bonus. This position will require the right person to come in and hit the ground running and you must be degree educated and have a CIM qualification or equivalent.
