Description
Developer required in the grid computing team. This Front Office team is responsible for developing the grid computing solution used across the company globally. This is a growing team, and presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to work on a range of interesting projects.
The candidate's duties will include:
- Working closely with the teams across the company to provide technical guidance and design advice.
- Work with teams in other regions to ensure global consistency
- Development of compute grid infrastructure
- Work with team to continuously improve the agile and responsive work practices
Skills& Experience Required:
- Strong technical grounding
- Strong skills in Java and Linux
- Good knowledge of c#/.NET and C++
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Ability and interest to learn fast
- Exposure to Linux and Windows
- Understanding of TCP and UDP sockets
- Experience of multi-threaded distributed applications
Desirable:
- Experience/understanding of grid computing/HPC
- Interest in optimization and high performance code
Successful candidates will be engaged under a contract for services by Resource Solutions.
