Description
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join a project for a world leading Semiconductor R&D company in Eindhoven.
Within this project the main deliverables are:
- Implemented data conversion tool, including connected ED header (data enrichment). All documented in an approved design document.
- Support handed over to Operations.
- All active subcons (11) successfully connected to conversion environment.
- Transition runbook: how to migrate new subcons into new data conversion service.
- Updated track & trace tool - showing the data flow status of the updated process.
- Service design specification, including RACI.
Skills:
- Developer/engineer with IT background (non Embedded)
- Knowledge of PERL and Shell Scripting on Linux
- Good understanding of large volume file based (ASCI, XML) data handling scripts
- Understanding of database interactions/query language
- Architectural skills: conceptual thinking
- Pre: Basic knowledge of web developing to develop a search function to search for data files
- Familiar with Prince2 and Agile/scrum
- Structured way of working
- Team player, good communication skills and able to work independently
- Fluent in English
