My Client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Engineering Design Department. The successful candidate will provide Mechanical engineering input to Front End engineering design and efficient solutions to the development of processes ranging from small component designs to production plants.
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have suitable Mechanical Design experience and be suitably qualified in Mechanical engineering and be able to display a competent Mechanical design knowledge/experience of:
*Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications.
*Developing a project specification (including working with other engineering disciplines).
*Ensuring performance consistency in specified operating environments.
*Planning and designing new production processes.
*Producing details of specifications and outline designs.
*Use of mathematical modelling and computer-aided design.
*Working with Structural Steel/Compressed Air Systems/Vessel Design (BS5500)/(ASME VIII)
*CDM - Design Role/Responsibility
*Tank and pump sizing and design
*Chemical Systems
*CHP/STG
*Material Selection
*Equipment Refurbishment
*AutoCAD - (Essential experience)
