We have an exciting opportunity in one of the most beautiful capitals of Europe, Brussels, for an IS Security Consultant with 13 years of IT experience (including studies) and 3 years in this specific function
We are looking for candidates with at least 3 years experience in:
- Datacentres infrastructure security
- Implementation of security services (eg SSL/TLS communications) on large infrastructure
- Unix family Operating Systems (Solaris and X-86 Linux)
- Oracle Database Management Systems
- Weblogic (or other Java EE compliant) application Servers
- Hardware token system based on VASCO products line
- Public Key Infrastructure - X509 certificates
- Networks security equipment (Network Monitoring, Firewall, Web- Application Firewall, IDS/IPS, Reverse-Proxy, IPSEC encryptors)
- Hardware Security Modules (nCiphers, Utimaco, Safenet) and FIPS 140-2 relevant requirements
Nature of tasks
As a Security Consultant you will have to:
- Cooperate with the hosting environment provider to ensure the security of the environment of execution of the web application (Java EE platform run on WebLogic server) including the security of the deployment of new software version and patches
- Assist the Union Registry Team in the bug/incident analysis and if security relevant, to provide advice on the definition of mitigation measures and correction.
- Provide support to the administration tasks of security systems, including:
- Administration of the Hardware token system used for strong authentication
- Administration of the IPSEC VPN boxes;
- Ensuring the renewal and the deployment of all the SSL certificates; - Provide support to trouble shoot any incident related to security
- Review the incident tickets from the end-users, identify and suggesting remediation measures when relevant to incident having a security dimension
- Develop and maintain in cooperation with the developer a vulnerability database considering all the software used and using the security bulletin/alert from the software providers
- Monitor the state of security of all the environments used
- Coordinate security operation center in charge of networks monitoring activities and contribute to the review of the corresponding monitoring scenarios
