We are looking for a
Service Operations Analyst for Incident & Service Request (m/f)

Your tasks:
  • Testing and distributing the service requests (mailbox), creating dbS tickets
  • Recording, classifying and prioritizing incidents
  • Manual administration using the application, scripts and database access
  • Manual Operational activities on UNIX and SQL / Oracle level
  • Regular reporting of the error data
  • Timely escalation unrecoverable faults
  • Fault analysis and troubleshooting, including documentation for the detection of patterns
  • Determination of (transitional) solutions
  • Preparatory Problem Management
  • Manual Technical adjustments (checking and correction of data quality)
  • Verification of specifications
  • Identification of production risks and problems
  • UNIX and SQL in daily operation


Your qualifications
  • Extensive experience in supporting complex application and infrastructure domains
  • Experience in asset management, SWIFT, (Reuters) Portfolio Management
  • Solid background in ITIL / best practice service in a distributed real-time environment
  • Competence in spoken and written (in the context of a service desk)
  • Safe handling of Solaris / UNIX and databases
  • Expertise in Oracle, SQL and Visual Basic scripting, Cron-Jobs and file- and directory-handling
  • Profound insights into the Windows operating system with a focus on Software Installation, Internet Explorer (configuration, Java plugin, certificates), TCP / IP and routing
  • Basic knowledge of Apache and Tomcat Web Server and MQ Series
