Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Improvement Engineer. Using Manufacturing Excellence you will be maintaining continuous improvement of the manufacturing performance (cost, quality, and cycle times). This leads to production towards customers as promised.JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an Improvement Engineer who is able to take ownership on improvement projects, an individual who is able to influence without power. You will be analysing processes and improving where possible. To do this you have to coach and operator shift leaders on the way of working. Please propose resources at a rate based on your market knowledge
MAIN TASKS:
• Increasing the productivity of the operators.
• Coaching of Shift Area Supervisors on standardised procedures.
• Working towards robust manufacturing processes.
• Act as a source of knowledge on Manufacturing Excellence.
• Translate manufacturing requirements towards IT.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Bachelor or master degree (Technical Business Administration)
• Affinity with IT/software
• Some experience working in projects
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Green belt certified is a pre
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to coach colleagues and implement process changes
• Result driven
• A good communicator
• Improvement driven
• Ability to challenge colleagues; and yourself
• Self-starter with a great sense of responsibility
• Flexible and available outside of working hours, when required.
