Our client, a leading Pharmaceutical company is currently seeking a Outsourcing Manager, to work on board for 6 months. They are well-known for their ability in pioneering science. You will be working in an international environment. This is an international, English-speaking environment. You will be accountable for your own actions, but equally be given responsibility. The position is based in Basel.This position requires the following skills
- Bachelor's degree, Masters Degree, or equivalent with at least 5 years experience at a pharmaceutical company or CRO.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical contract negotiation and preparation and familiarity with legal terminology associated with the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong negotiation skills/diplomacy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills/team player. Customer focused.
This position entitles these main duties:
- Initiates RFPs with Outsourcing Project Manager and clinical teams and works closely with clinical teams in reviewing bids
- Manages competitive bidding process in line with category and operational strategies
- Negotiation of Clinical Trial Agreements and agreements with other service providers, including: budgeting, pricing, payment timelines, generation of the final contract, and management of ongoing vendor collaborations.
- Managing all contracts
- Ensure contract completing according to process and SOP
- Responsible for and resolving all issues related with contracts between the company and vendor-
- May function as primary point of contact for a specific service type, activity, or TA
- Contribute to Savings and Productivity targets
