Description
We are currently looking for some Electronics Engineers for one of our clients. The skills and experience that we are looking for are as follows:Analogue and mixed signal, practical understanding of op-amps, ADC and DAC, preferably high resolution (e.g. audio or instrumentation).
Simulation and calculation of designs.
Linear and switch mode power supply design for low power circuits.
Digital hardware
Data acquisition using discrete logic.
Hardware design of microcontroller based designs.
Schematic capture and PCB layout preferably using Altium.
Design for EMC.
Design for Manufacture and Test.
Ideal skills:
Experience of technical supervision of electronics engineers and technicians.
Technical lead background with customer facing experience.
Data transmission implementation
RS485, USB, Ethernet.
Project management experience in a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable skills
Embedded processor
real-time code in assembler, structured C and reliability e.g. MISRA.
VHDL design.
Experience gained from one of the following industrial backgrounds would be an advantage:
Instrumentation and control.
Data acquisition.
Measuring instruments and sensors.
Audio.
