Investment Management Consultant - KInvestment Management Consultant required to join a specialist consultancy focusing purely on the Investment Management Sector.
This role requires someone who can provide both strategic and operational consultancy within the Investment Management space. The nature of the work requires highly motivated and confident professionals with significant investment management experience.
Overall Role & Responsibilities
- Develop presentations, proposals and project plans
- Work effectively with the project team to ensure completion of work to timescales and budget, as outlined in the agreement with the client
- Ensure that all deliverables are to the standards and quality required
- Carry out any of the roles and activities in and around the normal project life cycle, as assigned.
- Report project progress and issues
- Develop client relationships and identify further business opportunities
- Presenting on specialist subject matter
Required experience:
A detailed, working knowledge of several of the following investment management functional areas along with the service and software providers who support them:
Operational Improvement
Change Management
Post-Merger Integration
Front Office Management
Strategic Planning and Realisation
Regulatory and Risk Consulting
In-House and Third Party Investment Administration
Operating Model Design and Implementation
Procurement, Supplier Selection & Supplier Management
Product Development
Distribution Planning
The ideal candidate would have several years experience working in the investment management industry, whether at asset management firms, software houses or ideally as a consultant. This should include a track record of successfully delivering change (whether systems or operational) on time and to budget. Sound project management and/or business analysis skills combined with a good knowledge of client industry context and key business drivers is key.
