My client, an NHS organisation, are currently looking for an experienced GP Network Development Manager for a period of 3 months to start ASAP.We are looking for a candidate who has experience with a number of strategic transformation programmes such as;
- Prime Ministers Challenge Fund
- Shaping a Healthier Future
- Whole Systems Integrated Care
The successful candidate should have experience of establishing a single GP network which will sustain GP practices
Candidates could have come from a practice management or practice based commissioning background.
The GP Network Development Manager will:
- Be link between Trust and its member practices to support the implementation of specific programmes and projects.
- Provide support to the Managing Director and deputise in his / her absence
- Work with clinical leads, network leads and other stakeholders as appropriate to develop a sustainable network in area.
- Work with practices in the locality to ensure delivery against the out-of-hospital contracts
- Provide the CCG with the performance and audit information required by the out-of-hospital contracts on behalf of the locality
- The Network Development Manager will ensure member practices are adequately supported with all work from Primary Care and that projects are effectively managed throughout their duration. This work will include reporting on specific milestones and outcomes
- Rolling our of 18 new out of hospital services into primary care.
- Work within the network and directly with the GPs as a collective to ensure a communicative culture to build and strengthen working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders and commissioners
- Prepare robust project plans and business cases, with resources, timescales and budget attached, Measuring progress against the plans, mitigating risks and providing regular reports and assurance to the Network
