Responsible for end to end delivery of the reports, metrics and business statements used to deliver and measure the performance of these services. This position will require an individual that is a self-starter who can drive business initiatives independent of direct day-to-day supervision. The individual will be responsible for managing the requests from start to finish and completing a full analytic review of the data for each business objective.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Work with Leadership team to identify performance metrics and targets for services provided
  • Gather requirements for reporting performance actual to target
  • Identify existing data sources and reporting tools and recommend approach for data capture and reporting
  • Design, implement, build, test/validate and publish ad hoc and standard reports
  • Train members of the Division to use reports
  • Assess results through data investigation, analysis, and evaluation to identify trends and recommend methods of identifying and reporting trends.
  • Create supporting documentation for reports and create detailed documentation outlining report criteria
  • Prepare summaries and analysis results using graphical representations and professional formatting
  • Ensure that reports support the overall scope of business strategies
  • Maintain data integrity and ongoing quality control of delivered reports
  • Partner with Program Manager to collate forecasting and budget data and generate reports to IT Supervisors
SKILLS:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • MUST HAVE ADVANCED EXCEL SKILLS to include use of advanced functions (IF, AND, VLOOKUP, FORECAST, ARRAY), Create PivotTables to consolidate data, Import & export data, create and manage Scenarios, use Microsoft Query and Web Query tools, create macros. Successful candidate will know when to use these functions and will consult with teams to understand what reports are needed and will work to build needed reports.
  • 3+ years professional experience in data analysis and report design/development
  • Strong knowledge of reporting programs and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to create pie charts, graphs and bar charts to demonstrate inventory levels, planned to actual spend and other budgetary data (assets, liabilities, equity, income and expenses).
  • The qualified candidate will understand assets vs. liabilities, expense vs capital, invoicing, general ledger concept and other basic bookkeeping/accounting principles.
  • Must be highly organized, self directed and able to meet deadlines.
  • Must have strong communication skills and work well in teams.
Database Tools/Utilities, Data Administration, and Assets:
  • 2 Years Intermediate Experience with Account Reconciliation
  • 2 Years Expert Experience with Microsoft Excel
PREFERRED:
  • 2 Years Intermediate Experience with: SQL (Structured Query Language), Budget Analysis, Budget Development & Reporting
  • 1 Year Novice Experience with Business Process Mapping
  • 3 Years Guru Experience with Analytical skills and 2 Years with Data Management

Education: Bachelors degree in MIS, Business Intelligence or equivalent work experience
