Description
An SAP BW application expert to join our client in Norway, this role is for an SAP BW Application Expert while having a knowledge of SAP FICO/SD is preferred. SAP BW Application Expert, knowledge of InfoProviders and dataflows is a must and also knowing about SAP FICO/SD is preferred.
The consultant will be part of the Service Delivery Department and will reports to SAP Datawarehouse and Reporting Teamlead. In this case the consultant would be assigned 100% for the SAP Finance project, and thus report to the project management.
Background of the SAP Finance project is that in "client" company code setup in ECC does not represent the legal structure of the company. The goal of the project is to restructure the company codes, so they are aligned with the legal structure. At the same time they aim to continue reporting on the level of 'sites' (our current company codes), and the segment level of the company.
Two achieve this, we execute the following in ECC:
-Activate the NEW GL
-Implement/Restructure profit centers
-SAP SLO service to restructure the company codes
For BW it means that, we are adding Profit Center as an object to all our InfoProviders (and dataflows). Basically we are rebuilding our existing 3.5 flows in 7.x. Additionally we are activating the NEW GL Business content info providers. As a last step we must align our company codes in BW, as the SAP SLO service does in ECC.
