Essential Skills & Experience
Must have excellent experience in maintaining enterprise-class networks, preferably supporting an E-commerce application development environment.
Considerable knowledge of large production Wide Area Networks. This role requires a strong background in Layer 2, Layer 3 & Layer 4 routing and switching technologies, load balancing and content switching, as well as network security (Firewalling).
- Load balancing and application content switching
- MPLS, IPSEC VPN, Firewalls and TACACS authentication.
- BGP and OSPF routing
- Use of policy maps for routing.
- Operate autonomously without supervision
Knowledge of the following technology/products is required:
- Citrix Netscalers
- Cisco ASA Firewalls
- Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching lines
- Cisco ASR and ISR Routers
- Cisco ACS
- Juniper Netscreen & SRX Firewalls
- Arista Switches
Desirable Skills & Experience
- DDoS mitigation techniques and technologies
- ITIL Service Management Experience and SLA Reporting experience.
- Experience with SolarWinds, Lancope Stealthwatch, InfoBlox IPAM, Spectrum, Rancid
- Minimum Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), equivalent demonstrable experience and knowledge will be considered.
