Description
Consultant Progress 4GL Developer required for a new organisation establishing its IT Operations in Cork.
Reporting into a Development Manager and working on a large complex global system the successful candidate will have proven working experience in the development and support large enterprise applications.
The Job:
- Working within the development team in delivering enhancement requests to large projects
- Troubleshooting and debugging internally developed application interfaces
- Providing support to ongoing Quality Assurance and Business Acceptance testing
- Providing Application Support where necessary
- Interfacing with a large user base from various departments and business units.
Have You:
- Progress 4GL experience with Application Server programming experience
- Experience with Progress OpenEdge WebSpeed development
- A knowledge of AJAX, JASON and JQuery
- Enterprise integration experience with messaging service using IBM MQ/Sonic MQ and Web Services
Six month rolling contract with above market rate on offer for the right candidates
