ACUTE CONTRACT MANAGER - BAND 8AMy client, a forward thinking NHS organisation based in East Anglia are looking for an immediately available Acute Contract Manager to join their growing team for an initial 6 month contract.
This fantastic opportunity has come around at a time when contracts is incredibly busy so will be a great role to get your teeth stuck into from day one.
The Acute Contract Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing the Acute contracts on a daily basis with providers
- Ensuring day to day efficiency of the contracts & all aspects are being adhered to
- Assisting in contract negotiations
- KPI monitoring
- Liaising with both Finance and Informatics teams around contract matters.
- Ensure contract management practices are followed
- Suggest where you think changes need to be made & assist the Head of Contracts to put remedies in place
Essential Criteria:
- PbR experience
- Project Management experience would be ideal
- Strong understanding & experience of working in the commissioning cycle
- Acute contract experience
- Knowledge of region is ideal (details will be discussed on phone)
- Experience of being involved in NHS Contracts negotiations
