Job role: Finance Operations Manager

Location: South East

Duration: 6 - 12 Months

Day rate: £300 - £320 per day

Start date: ASAP

My NFP client is looking for a Finance Operations Manager to come on board and join this exciting organisation.

The purpose of the job is to act as an integral part of the Finance leadership team, contributing to communal activities. You will be working with other areas of Finance, IT and department managers and staff to ensure continuous improvement, process automation and resolution of root-cause issues affecting the efficiency of financial transaction processing to maximize effectiveness, efficiency and accuracy.

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience needed:

- Recognized process / quality improvement qualification (eg Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt)

- NVQ in management or equivalent.

- Managing teams to create an atmosphere of trust, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation, and coaching staff.

- Leading process workshops and presenting in front of executives, peer management and their teams.

- Proven expertise of project management including risk issues and progress reporting.

- Managing and developing people across a range of experience and capabilities.

Very strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Processing, Procurement, Expenses management and internal financial controls.
