Security Penetration Tester needed for a 3-6 month contract based in London and to start ASAP in December 2014.
Working for an IT Consultancy on two client sites based in London. Core skills, experience and daily duties are as follows:
* Performing Penetration Tests and Vulnerability Assessments across infrastructure and applications (Servers, Network Infrastructure and Web Apps).
* Web Application testing using BurpSuite and manual techniques.
* Understanding of the following tools: nMap, Tenable Nessus, BurpSuite, Core Impact, Canvas, Metasploit, HP Webinspect, Backtrack, Shell Scripts (command lines).
* Testing across various O/S, including Windows, UNIX, AIX and Linux.
* Conducting Risk Assessments based on HMG security policy framework.
* Supporting the Test Manager in defining test strategy, test plans, test schedule, test execution and test documentation.
* Escalating any risks to the Test Manager, producing risk reports and providing remediation advice.
* Reporting success/failure of test execution as per security policy.
* Producing reports, attending defect triage meetings and conduct witness testing.
* Preparing/designing use cases and test scripts in HP TestDirector/HP Quality Centre (HPQC).
* Using HP Quality Centre (HP QC) tools for Defect Management.
* Any security qualifications/training would be advantageous (CEH, OSCP, CISSP, Tiger Scheme, Crest etc).
