I am looking to hire a Project Accountant for our public sector client.
Key tasks and deliverables
The role will be within Finance and Governance but the accountant will work in partnership with HMCTS Strategy and Change to work up financial and economic cases for project Business cases wihtin a PRINCE2 environment. They will provide review and challenge of the quality and integrity of the assumptions provided by the business and provide options via financial data.
Experience Required
- Experience of developing financial and economic case model
- Experience of Financial Business partnering
- Must have stakeholder management, project based background, understand accounts and be able to do a business case for projects
They will engage and work closely with Project Managers to ensure that key spending trends are identified and any budget variances are challenged at an early stage.
They will also actively contribute to the preparation of the monthly management accounts for HMCTS, providing management commentary and ensuring any savings trends or opportunities are identified for inclusion in the financial benchmarking process.
