Financial Controller/Accountant (French Speaking)- 1 year contract - £365 per day
Specific Experience & Qualifications Required
Excellent knowledge of SAP and experience of a manufacturing and financial environment, as this role is to help implement SAP upgrade for manufacturing activity as well as working with local finance teams to ensure accounting principles are standard across MERPs.
English and French to a high level of fluency (written and spoken)
Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA or its equivalent within Europe (QBE EU qualification)
Demonstrable experience in financial reporting, preparation of statutory accounts, implementation of new accounting standards etc essential
Experience in French GAAP, IFRS, and UK GAAP
Proven track record and experience of SAP
Experience of carrying out migrations
Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Ability to communicate at Matrix levels, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to work as a member of multi-functional teams and influence senior management within a market
Ability to communicate & comprehend financial data in a relevant and concise way
Self motivated and displays initiative in solving problems
Ability to plan and manage workload to ensure all key deadlines are met
Actively seeks to improve processes making them more effective and efficient
Disciplined, excellent organisation
Empathy & resilience towards shared service centre set ups
This contract is based in West London near to Heathrow and offers a daily rate up to £365 per day and the duration is an initial year.
