Description
My client is looking for an SC cleared storage consultant utilising IBM kit.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
- SAN.
- Data centre transformation, deployment and migration.
- Virtualisation of server estates and services.
- Local and global DC resilience
- System Monitoring solutions
- Brocade Fabric Switch.
Required experience & skills:
- Proven design & build of hosted environments using proprietary tools eg IBM HMC, Cisco Works.
- Delivered repeatable patterns and designs that have been deployed through the proprietary tools.
- Experience of creating robust technical and operational documentation.
- Transitioned new builds to an existing operational team (includes knowledge transfer).
- Provide evidence of recommendations derived from operation use to im prove performance, able to demonstrate evidence of implemented design changes achieving change.
- Provide expert knowledge based on formal qualifications and practical experience, and must have the ability to impact this knowledge to technical professionals.
- Proven knowledge of crating automated alerting across the platform.
- Knowledge of data centre quality assurance in commissioning and sign-off with experience of achieving acceptance criteria with an IBM programme.
CANDIDATES MUST BE SC CLEARED OR BE ELIGIBLE FOR CLEARANCE.
