Job Summary
Experience in Fulfilment Process-related OSS transformation or Order Management systems implementation engagements across wireless and/or wire-line services such as Fixed Broadband, xDSL, Fiber, PSTN VAS and Mobile Broadband. This candidate may also be involved in developing industry best-in-class product offers, proposals and should possess strong analytical and writing skills to be able to address working and mid-level management level concerns around best fulfilment organizational structures, processes, products and the candidate will be expected to :
- Work with teams of other Consultants and System Architects to Assess, Analyse, Plan and ultimately
- Implement industry best-in-class Order Management solutions for Global Telco clients.
- Create detailed and accurate As-Is and To-Be process maps and be able to quickly and efficiently understand Gaps based on industry best practices.
- Help recommend improvements by creating roadmaps and transition plans encompassing high ROI OPEX and CAPEX reductions and potential increased Revenue based on sound value propositions, benefit potential and business cases.
- Work with other members of The Company to develop Consulting Products and Services specific to Order Management that are compelling and repeatable.
Position Qualifications
- At Least 3 years in the Telecommunications Industry and with:
- Solid experience in ConceptWave products & solutions consultation
- A strong understanding of process design across Telecommunications and/or Cable Operators in at least some areas of Customer Care, Inventory, B2C & B2B Services, Assignment and Design, Back Office, Dispatch, Field Operations and Help Desk operational areas.
- An understanding of how Order Management within the Fulfilment area impacts the other eTOM functional areas of ILM, OSR, Assurance and Billing as well as interactions with the BSS in CRM and its fit to the overall Business Model.
- Knowledge of Fulfilment industry KPI/KQIs and KPOs, Operational and Diagnostic metrics and associated benchmarks.
- The ability to help create within a team structure robust value propositions and business cases for systems and process transformation.
- Excellent analytical skills are a must. Knowledge and certification in eTOM and ITIL frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to document to a level 5 eTOM flow is critical.
- Ability to quickly identify and document gaps and to identify the need for and to create business rules is required.
- A proven track record of success working on customer engagements. Has been part of at least 2 Process engagements.
- Able to interview operational staff and to document accurately the work flow.
- Able to create and present technical deliverables. Excellent Verbal, Writing and Presentation Skills are critical.
- Expertise in business process modelling tools, Visio and PowerPoint.
- 50 % business travelling is expected
